This limitation makes it less suitable for large-scale or advanced assessments.

Users have reported issues with app stability on mobile devices, including difficulties in loading links or occasional crashes which necessitate app reinstallation or cache clearing.

Parent access is quite restricted; they receive email summaries but lack detailed insights into student progress or grades unless configured through specific settings or third-party tools. For educators managing large classes, the interface can become even more challenging due to limited organizational features.

Security and privacy are essential considerations; Google states that data shared within Classroom adheres to strict privacy policies. Nonetheless, some users express concerns over data collection practices related to personal information such as location and contact details.

Google Classroom serves as a core digital tool that facilitates teaching and learning in a connected environment. It performs well for routine tasks such as distributing materials and basic assessments but falls short in areas requiring advanced analytics, customization, and streamlined navigation—especially in larger or more complex educational settings. Its ease of use combined with the broad ecosystem support makes it a compelling choice for schools already embedded within Google’s services.
